Spring

Spring in Japan is pleasant and mild. It’s the season when Sakura or cherry blossoms begin to bloom, covering the country in pink and white. It’s a sight that should be experienced at least once in your life.

Summer

Summer in Japan is mostly hot and sunny. It's a time of water sports, outdoor food, relaxing on the beach, and hiking in the mountains. It’s also the season to see many different and impressive fireworks displays. And wherever you go, festivals abound.

Autumn

For most of central Japan, autumn is typically mid-November to early December. The temperate weather and striking landscape with colorful fall foliage make autumn one of the most popular seasons for traveling to Japan.

Winter

Winter in Japan is a time to embrace the cold, whether by visiting the mountains for winter sports or enjoying the snowfall from the comfort of an outdoor hot spring bath.

The changing seasons offer unique and exciting travel experiences. As shown in these videos, each season in Japan offers something incredible no matter what time of year you visit.
