JNTO Promoted Inbound Tourism at "Taste of Japan in New York"

On September 21st, Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) had a booth at “Taste of Japan in New York,” a reception to promote Japanese food and culinary tradition.

The prime minister Fumio Kishida stopped by JNTO booth. In his greeting, he mentioned the lifting of travel restrictions for international tourists and encouraged travelers to visit Japan.

At the reception, JNTO promoted inbound tourism to those in food industry, VIPs in political and financial realm, as well as media and influencers through promotional videos, PR booth, and a presentation by Arnie Weissmann, the editor in chief of Travel Weekly.

With travel restrictions lifted as of October 11th, JNTO will continue its effort to promote inbound tourism though online advertisement, further collaboration with travel agencies specialized in unique luxury packages, hosting influencers, exhibiting at B2C events, and more.
