Tokushima Prefecture
Opened in July 2022, Hessokko Water Sports Complex is a water activity facility located along the shores of Lake Ikeda, an artificial lake created by the Ikeda Dam on the Yoshino River in Tokushima Prefecture. Surrounded by lush mountains and forests, the complex offers a variety of outdoor water activities, including stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), canoeing, rafting, and banana boating. Visitors of all ages can enjoy an active day in a beautiful natural setting.
Lake Ikeda Loghouse serves as the base of the facility and is equipped with everything needed for a safe and comfortable water adventure. Wetsuits and life jackets are available for rental, and guests can take breaks at designated rest areas while enjoying the peaceful lakeside atmosphere. Pets are also welcome.
Experience a full day of fun on the water and connect with nature at Hessokko Water Sports Complex. If you are visiting Tokushima during the warmer months, this is an ideal destination for those seeking outdoor adventure and memorable experiences in a scenic environment.
From Okayama Station, take a JR train bound for Kochi to Awa Ikeda Station (about 1 hour and a half). Ride a bus for 4 stops and get off at "Itano" bus stop, then walk approximately 6 minutes to Hessokko Water Sports Complex.
