Learn about the relationship between forests and water while enjoying water activities on the Nenoue Highlands facing the valley and lake
ZIVA SCRUM ENA General Incorporated Association
This experience touches on the relationship between “forest” and “water.” The setting is the Nenoue Highlands, a place full of tremendous natural beauty with two lakes, Nenoue Lake and Hokonoko Lake, as well as the Shiroyashio Valley. Here, you will get to enjoy activities such as climbing waterfalls, savoring a lunch of rice balls and pork soup made with vegetables grown at the foot of Mt. Ena, and enjoying water activities such as SUP and boating.
The valley flows out from the two lakes that were created to provide water for the rice fields. However, most of the flowing water comes from natural streams in the forest. Enjoy experiencing the vitality within both you and the forest in a field created through the cooperation of humans and nature.
How to get there
