Let us introduce you to two of Saitama’s top places to visit via 360-degree, virtual reality videos. Just 30 minutes by train from Tokyo is Kawagoe City, a well-preserved historical townscape where you can feel the atmosphere of Japan from 400 years ago. Soak in the scenery and snack on local foods like eel and sweet potatoes. For some extra-special holiday photos, rent a kimono to wear as you explore the town.

At Nagatoro, about 2 hours by train from Tokyo, splash down the river in a traditional boat handled by a skilled boatman. An activity enjoyed by visitors to Saitama for over 100 years, floating down the stream is the best way to see the unusually shaped rocks formed by the river’s rough rapids and the area’s forested mountains.

Take a sightseeing trip from your home to Saitama with these VR videos as you plan your next trip to Japan.
