Retracing the beginnings of world-famous manga artist Fujiko・F・Fujio, the creator of Doraemon

The Fujiko・F・Fujio Hometown Art Gallery is a manga art gallery where visitors can take delight in wonderful works while gaining exposure to the first principles of manga art. The museum exhibits the artist's belongings, as well an area that shows how his original drawings compare with their final published versions. Other exhibits include a statue of Doraemon (one of Fujio's characters) made from Takaoka copperware, a product of the traditional local industry, as well as an original short animated film. Tickets: Adults and university students 500yen / Junior high school and high school students 400 yen / Primary school students and young children (4 years and older) 200 yen
