Welcome the coming of spring surrounded by tulips in full bloom in the picturesque Sakura Furusato Square
In the picturesque park of Sakura Furusato Square in Sakura City (Chiba Prefecture), which is famous for its Dutch windmill, about 800,000 tulips of 100 different kinds bloom each year in April and about 100,000 visitors come to see them in full bloom during the Sakura Tulip Festival. Welcome the coming of spring with the magnificent view of tulips painting the fields in vivid colors against the beautiful backdrop of Lake Inbanuma. During the festival, you will find plenty of ways to enjoy yourself, such as renting a traditional Dutch costume, playing Dutch street organs, renting a bike, boarding a sightseeing boat, or simply buying a delicious soft serve ice cream.
