Nara | Tanize Suspension Bridge of Nara

Superb View From Wire Mesh Tanize Suspension Bridge: Rising 54 Meters Over the Emerald Green Totsukawa River

Boasting superb views and rising 54 meters over the emerald green Totsukawa River, the Tanize Suspension Bridge was built in 1954 for residents and is currently still used today.
Though safety is guaranteed, the swaying motion can be quite unsettling or fun, depending on your perspective. Nestled deep in the mountains, this village was home to some of the fiercest samurai, and that tough mountain spirit lives on. Trails that are part of a UNESCO world heritage, Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range run through the village, which feels almost unchanged since ancient times.
