Japan has a custom of hanging koinobori (carp streamers) in May to wish for the healthy growth of its young boys. During this time, Tokyo Skytree Town®, is decorated with around 1,500 carp streamers to welcome visitors. Various places throughout the town are decorated with these carp streamers, creating a festive and uplifting atmosphere.
