Back for another year, the 34th Hakozaki Shrine Nagoshi Summer Festival in Fukuoka will be held on July 29th and 30th. A thatch ring made of cogongrass will be set up in front of the main gate, and a purification ceremony will be held at the main shrine. In addition, a market and various events will be held on the approach to the shrine, with stalls set up by local businesses and community workshops.
