The Kamakura Snow House Festival at Yunishigawa Hot Spring Resumes for 2023!

The Kamakura Snow House Festival is normally held in late January every year. It was cancelled in 2022, but will resume in 2023, running from January 27th until February 26th!

A “kamakura” is a dome made with snow - similar to a Canadian quinzhee. Numerous candles are lit up at this event, where you can enjoy a magical atmosphere with many rows of illuminated miniature kamakura houses.
