Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura is a cultural theme park, a recreation of the streets of the Edo period (1603-1867), when samurai and other residents of Edo went about their daily business.
Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura is not just a visual attraction. Visitors can dress in the kimono styles of various classes of citizens and interact with other Edoites as they stroll through the streets of what Tokyo was like centuries ago. A variety of programs for children are also available, including ninja and samurai experiences.
