Earthquake Information On June 18th

Although six accommodations in Yamagata Prefecture were temporarily closed due to the earthquake, all accommodations restarted their operations by July 1
(no accommodations in Niigata Prefecture have been closed).

According to Japan Meteorological Agency, on June 18th, 2019 at approximately 10:22 pm JST, a strong earthquake (Magnitude 6.8) occurred in Niigata,Yamagata and aroud regions. Tsunami advisories lifted. Trains and flights operate as usual. Please check latest information from below pages. For Shinkansen information, check from here .
