Children-inclusive snow activities
Winter is a magical time in Hokkaido, and Kiroro Resort is an ideal place for families to experience snow activities. Kiroro’s Snow Park is a big snow playground where children of all ages can have fun with everything from building snow castles to sliding down slopes in a snow tube.
For some adrenaline action, try rafting and banana boat riding in the snow while being towed by a snowmobile. Take in the beautiful mountain scenery as you bounce along snowy mounds while doing laps around the park. Older children can hop on a mini snowmobile or a fat-tire "snow buggy" to explore Kiroro's stunning winter scape over two different courses.
Families can also enjoy the wintry landscape from the cozy "Snow Cat" as it carves a path deep into the forests. Other family-friendly activities include a guided snowshoe excursion and cross-country skiing around the Kiroro forest.
Another fun activity is the inflatable Human Bubble Ball, where the aim is to bump and make others fall into the snow. As a plausible bad weather plan, head to Granship, an indoor facility with exciting games for children to enjoy.
