～Different From Kansai-Style!～
Unlike the Kansai-style okonomiyaki that is grilled after the various ingredients are mixed together, the Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki is done by first dissolving the flour in water and grilling the mixture lightly, then placing ingredients such as shredded cabbage and yakisoba/yakiudon on top of that, and finished by topping it off with a thin omelet.
◆Never go wrong with “Okonomi-mura” that even the locals frequent
It is said that there are around 2,000 okonomiyaki stalls in Hiroshima prefecture. “Okonomi-mura” is a building specializing in okonomiyaki, and is especially convenient when you are unsure which stall you should visit. There are 24 local okonomiyaki stalls in “Okonomi-mura”, and tourists in particular enjoy it here as they do not have to worry about getting lost. As you enjoy the beer and okonomiyaki here, the fatigue that has built up over the day will disappear without a doubt.
