As its name suggests, this multi-day course takes cyclists along the entire island of Shikoku. At just over 1,000 kilometers this route offers a worthwhile challenge, but sections can also be enjoyed separately to make the distance more manageable, such as the half-route through Ehime and Kochi prefectures. In addition to sweeping coasts, lush forests, towering peaks, and other elements of the island’s natural beauty, the route allows cyclists to engage with the unique local culture found in each of Shikoku’s four prefectures.
