Karatsu

The Ocean with four seasons

Due to the large difference in water temperature during the year, you can say that, when you dive at Karatsu, you can feel the change of seasons. Also due to the weather situations such as violent current, there has been many ship wrecks off the shores. The cargo was mainly porcelain and china's, so if your lucky, you may come across a lost treasure from the past during you dive. You can also enjoy the famous "nanatsugama" rock formation. This rock formation is designated as a national treasure.
