Audio guides are available in English and a number of other languages

How to Get There

The park is an easy 2-minute walk from Kinjofuto Station, which is 24 minutes from Nagoya Station on the Aonami line.

Getting on track

The SCMAGLEV and Railway Park offers education and entertainment in equal measure, with enthralling exhibitions detailing the advances in Japanese high-speed rail over time.

Walk around a collection of 39 retired train cars—from steam locomotives to the newest designs of the magnetically levitated bullet train (maglev). You can view them from below or hop on board.

Education and evolution

Children will be thrilled with the life-sized train simulators where they can drive a bullet train and give safety announcements for regular trains.

In the educational zones, you can learn about the history and evolution of the high-speed railway in Japan and see historical documents, tools, and equipment from bygone eras of train travel.
