Last-minute shopping and a Ferris wheel ride

Palm trees, blue skies, and outlet shops. One station away from Kansai Airport, Rinku Town makes a great first or last destination before a long flight.

Retail is the prime attraction, with outlets for a wide range of brands, including Adidas, Kate Spade New York, and The North Face. The oceanside, open-air location is also an ideal place to spend time prior to (or directly after) your flight.

Quick Facts

Home to about 250 shops

Also boasts a Ferris wheel and neighboring beachside park

How to Get There

Rinku Town is accessible by train.

From Kansai Airport, Rinku Town is the first stop on both the JR and Nankai lines. Likewise, if coming from Namba or other locations within Osaka, Rinku Town is the last stop before arriving at Kansai Airport.

Ride the high wheel or take a bath

If you'd prefer to forego the shopping, consider a ride on the massive Ferris wheel, or head to the neighboring Tennen Onsen Rinkunoyu public bath for a last-minute dip.

When to go

Consider a trip to Rinku Town if you have shopping to do before your return flight, or make a day out of exploring the area and check out nearby Kishiwada Castle as well.
