Stop and Smell the Flowers in Tottori

Meander through beautiful botanical gardens at the foot of Mt. Daisen

With hills blanketed in springtime blossoms set against the proud peak of Mt. Daisen, you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere more picturesque than Flower Hill in Tottori Hanakairo Flower Park.

The park boasts all sorts of flora and herbs, but the star of them all is the lily. See if you can spot all the different varieties on display. And be sure to stop by the Jungle Dome and Flower Dome for a chance to see—and smell—flowers from all around the globe. There's no end of blossoming beauty to take in, but the flower train that runs through the vast area is there to help make the gardens accessible and enjoyable to everyone.

If you’re visiting outside of spring, there’s still much to enjoy: take in the lush flower fields during the summer, the colorful foliage during the autumn, or the nighttime illumination in the winter. The Flower Park will delight and dazzle no matter the season.

Access: Yonago Airport is a 90-minute flight from Tokyo Haneda Airport; a 30-minute shuttle from Yonago Airport will take you to Yonago Station. A free shuttle bus from Yonago Station will take you to the park in 25 minutes.
