3,000年もの昔から、日本の海女（海の女）はアワビ、またその他の海の幸を求めて海に潜ってきました。

伊勢志摩国立公園にある海女小屋はちまんかまどで、海女の生活を詳しく見てみましょう。独特の海女着を着て、海女と一緒に伝統的な踊りを舞い、とれたての魚介類のごちそうを食べ、大いに楽しんでください。（ベジタリアン向けメニューもあります。）海女の温かいおもてなしや、素潜り漁の話に感動することでしょう。
