If you love the outdoors and are looking to add some fun and excitement to your Japan trip, don’t miss the adventure of a lifetime at Forest Adventure TOYOTA KURAGAIKE! Located in the vast Kuragaike Park of Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, this hands-on, adventure-oriented attraction lets participants walk among the treetops via a variety of challenging routes from tree to tree while harnessed to safety cables.

Forest Adventure TOYOTA KURAGAIKE offers four different courses to be experienced in order. Courses 1 through 3 entail a variety of challenging crossings and adventurous obstacles among the tree canopy, while the final Course 4 lets you zoom across Kuragaike Pond via zip cord. Take an aerial walk on the wild side and enjoy views that only birds usually get to see! The courses are user-friendly to people of all ages, from children over 110 cm in height to adults.

After completing your adventure, enjoy the expansive Kuragaike Park. You can have a bite to eat at the restaurant run by Snow Peak, and stay the night at one of its campsites, or sip a cup of coffee at the pond-side Starbucks. A myriad of other facilities can be found within the park, including a zoo, a botanical garden, a pastureland, a large indoor playground equipment for children and an old train from the Nagoya Railroad that has been restored and set in the park.

How to get there

From JR Nagoya Station, take a train to Toyotashi Station (1 hour), then a bus to "Kuragaike Koen-mae" bus stop (about 20 minutes) and walk for a minute.
