Experience All the Thrills of an Authentic Formula One Course

Suzuka Circuit offers excitement for auto racing fans of all ages

Motorsport enthusiasts looking for fun can drive straight to the Suzuka Circuit International Racing Course, a track located in Mie Prefecture's Suzuka City. Driven by the vision of Honda Motor’s founder, Soichiro Honda, the Suzuka Circuit was built as one of the few race circuits in the world to feature a figure-eight layout. It stands today as one of the classic tracks of the Formula One World Championship.

Suzuka is the traditional host of the Japanese Grand Prix, but car enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to enjoy the thrill of racing for themselves with the Circuit Challenger experience. This uses small electric cars with a steering wheel containing many of the car’s controls, just like an F1 car’s steering wheel. The challenge involves various missions that you must complete to reach the goal. At the end, you'll receive an evaluation to see how your skills match up with other drivers. It’s an experience open to kids as well—a great chance to actually get out and drive on Suzuka Circuit.

When you've had enough excitement, soak in the hot springs within the Circuit grounds. There’s even a hotel at the Circuit if you’re looking to stay the night.

Access: From Nagoya Station, walk to Kintetsu-Nagoya Station (about three minutes), take an express train to Shiroko Station (about 39 minutes), take the Mie Kotsu Bus to the Rissho Koseikai stop (about 18 minutes), then walk about one minute to the Circuit.
