Hop on a shuttle bus from Iwami Station and you will shortly arrive at the otherworldly Uradome Coast. Rent a kayak at the neighboring Nagisa Exchange Center and venture out to sea in one of these fun-to-ride boats. If you prefer to take it slow and easy as you appreciate some of the clearest water in Honshu, opt for the Clear Kayak option. These transparent-bottomed vessels let you admire marine life in motion in the crystal-clear, cobalt blue ocean beneath your boat. Access: From Tokyo Haneda Airport, fly to Tottori Airport (about one hour 20 minutes), then take a taxi from the airport to the Center (about 20 minutes).
