In the coastal area of Takaishi City, the Sakai-Semboku Waterfront Industrial Zone stretches from neighboring Sakai City to Izumiotsu City. Petroleum and chemical factories are located in the city, and the coastal factory area accounts for approximately 40% of the city area.

The night view of the factories that can be seen there has an overwhelming sense of scale and a continuous panoramic view from the Hanshin Expressway Bayside Route.

You can also see a variety of things, such as the cluster of factories lined up across the sea and their lights reflected on the water, and the rare view of the cluster of factories and the expressway across the waterway.

Factory night view tours sponsored by local chambers of commerce and industry that visit these spots are extremely popular. There is a hotel right near Hagoromo Station on the Nankai Main Line, so you can stay overnight and sightsee.

There are other sightseeing spots in the city, such as the Kobayashi Museum of Art, which exhibits Japanese paintings, and Shushoji Temple, which is built on the ruins of a castle, so you can spend the whole day sightseeing.

There are many stylish shops close to the station that are open until night, so we recommend stopping by before or after seeing the night view of the factories.
