This winter season, Nagano Prefecture's famed national treasure, Matsumoto Castle, will be brought to life with vivid projection mapping displays, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m nightly, ongoing until February 14. The beautiful Matsumoto Castle, decorated with digital art, appears almost as if floating on the surface of the water, offering an otherworldly beauty on top of this already grandiose architerctural marvel.
The castle also recently featured a two-day ice sculpture festival, featuring unique works that are all the more stunning when they catch the light, whether that of the illuminations, or of the morning sun.
