Senjugahama is located on the west side of Lake Chuzenji in Nikko. This spot, surrounded by rich nature, is very popular for hiking. Around mid-June is the best time to enjoy the pink flowers of Japanese primroses in full bloom, which prompt many people visit this spot and enjoy the beautiful scenery. You can access Senjugahama by bus or pleasure boat. It is also highly recommended to stop by if you happen to be hiking in the area!
*Please note that the pleasure boat to Senjugahama is only available in June.
