As of October 1st, JNTO has officially launched special website for the GREENxEXPO 2027 (the International Horticultural Expo 2027, Yokohama, Japan), available in four languages (English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean). In addition to providing information on the GREENxEXPO 2027, we aim to use the GREENxEXPO 2027 as an opportunity to encourage inbound travelers to visit regional areas in Japan by sharing model itineraries and other travel information related to parks, food, culture, plants, and more.
These contents are organized according to the four sub-themes of the GREENxEXPO 2027, which are “Harmony with nature (Co-adaptation)”, “Co-existence through greenery and agriculture (Coexistence ) ”, “Creation of new industries (Co-creation)”, and “Resolution through co-operation (Co-operation)”. By publishing articles according to these themes, we will showcase Japan’s diverse attractions inspired by the GREENxEXPO 2027. Additionally, we will provide detailed tourism information, including model itineraries for visiting the featured attractions, to further encourage travel to regional areas.
