Mt. Daisen – Expo 2025: Live to Travel, Travel to Live

Mt. Daisen

Mount Daisen offers leisurely hikes through a primeval beech forest encircled by lush greenery. The area has three courses, Nature, History, and Full Course, which allow you to enjoy the charms of Mount Daisen while immersing yourself in its natural and historical wonders. One of the mountain’s most tranquil spots is Ogamiyama Shrine Okunomiya. This nationally designated important cultural property features Japan's longest natural stone pavement approach and is beautifully crafted from white sandalwood—the largest of its kind in Japan.
