Kikuchi Valley is popular during the fall foliage season, and Momijigase, where the autumn leaves are particularly attractive, is covered in a carpet of autumn leaves and is very beautiful.
Hirogawara also has beautiful autumn leaves, and many photographers come here every year.

You can also enjoy a simple snack at the Kikuchi Valley Visitor Center, an information dissemination facility located within Kikuchi Valley. The grilled yamame trout and local chicken are especially popular dishes and have a reputation for being delicious.
