Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture
Get out into nature (with plenty of creature comforts) at Bub Resort, a hotel and glamping facility nestled in the virgin forests of a National Park in the Yatsugatake Mountains, in Yamanashi Prefecture.
Besides spending the night in one of the perfectly appointed glamping tents, or a peaceful room for those who prefer to sleep indoors, the resort offers over 15 activities each day that allow you to make the most of the great outdoors, experiencing the local culture, the protected flora and fauna...and, of course, the flavors of the region. From hiking to treasure hunts, bonfires, and local wine tastings, there is something for everyone.
Bub Resort is a great destination for those traveling with children, as there are special events and activities celebrating the four seasons and holidays, such as Halloween, Christmas, and Easter, to keep kids entertained.
Meals at the resort focus on local Yamanashi ingredients, such as flavorful veggies grown at 1,000m or prized Koshu beef and wine—just the thing after a day of adventures in the mountains.
How to get there
