Classic Route

A classic, popular itinerary starting from Kobe

Recommended season

DAY 1

Your journey begins from Kobe. The romantic architecture of Chinatown, the Old Settlement where foreigners once lived, and the Kitano Ijinkan district will make your heart flutter. Meriken Park is the perfect place to take pictures of the port city of Kobe, including the Port Tower. For dinner, try Kobe beef, one of the three most famous Japanese Wagyu beef. Splurge a little and pamper yourself.

DAY 2

Spend a full day to enjoy all the famous places in Hiroshima. In the morning, visit the Atomic Bomb Dome and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, and in the afternoon, go to Miyajima, a World Heritage Site with a torii gate floating on the sea. In autumn, Miyajima is famous for its autumn leaves. Get off the boat and take a walk around the island, and you will be overwhelmed by the spectacular view of the autumn leaves.

DAY 2 ANOTHER ROUTE

Walk around town in Kurashiki's Bikan Historical Quarter, admiring the scenery of Shirakabe Warehouses and the rows of willow trees. The Bikan Historical Quarter is also famous for its autumn foliage, and the combination of the cityscape and autumn leaves is unique to this area. If you want to relax and enjoy the mild weather, the River Boat Tour is recommended. In the evening, visit Korakuen Garden, one of the three most famous gardens in Japan. The autumn leaves in one of Japan's most famous gardens are well worth a visit.

DAY 3

Today's accommodation will be at the historic "Arima Onsen", said to be the oldest hot spring in Japan, and enjoy Onsen while basking in the afterglow of our trip.

DAY 4 ANOTHER ROUTE

Visit Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, the largest island in the Seto Inland Sea. Take a cruise ship to see the powerful whirlpools generated by the flowing waves. In the afternoon, take a walk around Hana no Shima where you can go horseback riding. In autumn, cosmos, dahlia, and salvia are in full bloom, creating a colorful landscape all around. Today's accommodation will be at the historic "Arima Onsen", said to be the oldest hot spring in Japan, and enjoy Onsen while basking in the afterglow of our trip.
