Experience a 'Wadaiko' (Japanese taiko drum) performance and workshop at a former merchant's historic residence, 'Sairi-yashiki'

Sairi Yashiki is the former estate of a prosperous merchant family who lived in Marumori for seven generations (since 1780). Surrounded by beautiful Japanese style buildings and open air environment of this historical location, enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience that includes both a live performance and wadaiko (Japanese taiko drum) workshop by 'Tabidaiko', a local group of professional wadaiko performers.

Highlights:

★ Live performance by professional wadaiko drummers

★ Wadaiko workshop (no prior experience necessary)

★ Perform the song you learned during the workshop on the beautiful outdoor stage in the grounds of Sairi-yashiki!

Operating hours: 10:00am - 12:00pm, 1:30pm - 3:30pm (closed Mondays)
