Catch the dazzling lights of the Sendai Pageant of Starlight at the Jozenji-dori Avenue which is the main street of Sendai starting from mid-December. This Christmas illumination was started 33 years ago and every year, it keeps getting better with the impressive light decorations! Enjoy a stroll along the avenue and soak up the festive atmosphere. There are many cafes along the main street and one can also sit by the café to savour a cup of hot beverage and appreciate the Christmas illumination. The Christmas lights lit up 3 times between 6pm to 9pm.
