Huis Ten Bosch is a theme park in Nagasaki which is wholly inspired by European architecture. What makes it very special aside from the majestic gardens, a palace, canals, and windmills is its new attraction – The Jurassic Island. It is located on an uninhabited island in Omura Bay with a total land area of approximately 40,000m2. Imagine experiencing an augmented reality (AR) game against dinosaurs on an actual isolated island just like in the movies. Find the hidden treasure while trying to defeat the dinosaurs and completing the missions. While having fun learning more about the Jurassic age, you will also be in awe of how realistic the dinosaurs are!
Since the Jurassic Island attraction is part of Huis Ten Bosch, you will need to purchase a passport ticket. If you book online a month before your expected travel date (when it is safe to travel, of course), you will get a 600 yen discount. The theme park itself has loads of other attractions and events to see and enjoy, so you can also opt for staying at a hotel to fully maximize your adventure.
