If you think theme parks are only about rides, mascots, and parades, well you’re in for a surprise. Iga no Sato Mokumoku Tezukuri Farm, also known as Mokumoku Farm, is one of Japan’s agricultural theme parks. They have classes on how to make various types of food from scratch including sausages, bread, ice cream, and even craft beer!
You can experience farm life firsthand through activities like horse riding, cow milking, harvesting, animal shows, and many more. Animals roam around freely in the farm, so you can pet them as much as you want! Or, you can grow your own vegetables too. Savour the fruits of hard labour by having fresh produce which is available in their stores and also served in their restaurants to satisfy your tastebuds.
The farm is self-sustainable where everything is grown locally and free of chemicals. Their cottage-style accommodation offers you a unique experience while being so close to nature. And did we mention they even have an onsen as well? A lifestyle far from the bustling city will not only leave your family having tons of fun, but you will learn a lot too!
