Fujiichi is a popular long-distance cycling route around the foot of Japan’s iconic Mt. Fuji. The route begins in Gotemba, and offers the opportunity to explore the charms of the area at your own pace. The route is quite hilly, offering a challenge to even seasoned cyclists, and can be completed in a single day, or more leisurely, with an overnight stay in the area. Enjoy varied views of Fuji throughout the journey, and stop by the Fuji Five Lakes area for some sightseeing and relaxation at one of the area’s many hot spring hotels.
