Nichinan Coast Cycling Line
This scenic byway runs nearly 52 kilometers along the picturesque Nichinan coast in southern Miyazaki Prefecture, from Aoshima to Nango. The environment is perfect for cyclists, as Miyazaki is warm and has many hours of sunlight. Plus, many of the roads are closed to vehicular traffic, though the occasionally steep gradients offer plenty of challenge. From Miyazaki Airport, take the Miyazaki Airport Line and the Nichinan Line to JR Aoshima Station. The trip will take about 25 minutes.
