Overlooking the ancient city of Kyoto, the Kyoto Golf Club is a place of tradition and prestige. Established in 1948, it is known as Japan's first newly constructed golf course after World War II. The club features two 18 hole courses, Kamigamo and Funayama. The Kamigamo Course in particular offers a landscape reminiscent of Kyoto's beautiful gardens, adorned with old pines and numerous trees, captivating golfers with nature's beauty in every season. The course generally has gentle undulations with shorter holes, but requires a strategic approach. Highlights

The 4th hole of the Kamigamo Course features the famed floating tee ground, surrounded by bunkers. Its steeply sloped two-tiered green stimulates a golfer's spirit of challenge.

The Funayama Course is short in distance, offering a friendly challenge even for beginners, and boasts a prime location with a panoramic view of Kyoto's historic cityscape.

Just a 30-minute drive to downtown Kyoto, it's also a great combination to explore Kyoto's sightseeing spots after golf, immersing yourself in the area's rich history and culture.
