Let loose with an exhilarating mountain biking adventure

Your epic mountain biking excursion starts around 800 meters up Mt. Daisen on the ski slopes. With the wind on your face, fresh mountain air in your lungs, and beautiful views of the ocean your constant companion, you'll have left any stress in the dust by the time you hit the brakes. Encompassing part of Daisen-Oki National Park, the area simply abounds with natural beauty in all seasons.

This tour is more than just an outdoor activity, however. Your guide will shine a spotlight on local Japanese culture, and all tours make stops so you can explore the towns you pass through on your winding path.

The mountain bike and your lunch are provided, but you'll need to come dressed in appropriate attire, as the air is cooler atop the peak. Since the tour involves a lot of off-roading, make sure you're prepared in case you take a tumble.

Access: From Shin-Osaka Station, take the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen to Okayama Station (about 45 minutes), then transfer to the JR limited express Yakumo to the JR Yonago Station (about two hours) and take the Daisen/Motomiya bus to the Asuretikku-mae stop (about 35 minutes).
