Artistic Excellence at the Mori Art Museum

World-class modern art and stunning city views await you in central Tokyo

The Mori Art Museum is a prime destination in Tokyo for modern art. It features truly multifaceted special exhibitions curated with a unique sense of aesthetics, with past displays having showcased the work of Shiota Chiharu, N. S. Harsha, Dinh Q. Lê, and Takashi Murakami. The exhibitions cover an impressive range of artistic styles and genres—everything from paintings to architecture, fashion and more are represented over the course of a calendar year.

Due to its prime location on the 53nd floor of the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower building, a ticket to the Mori Art Museum also allows visitors to enter the Tokyo City View, an indoor observation deck. For an additional fee, visitors can venture to the rooftop Sky Deck, which offers breathtaking views of the metropolis—and as far off as Mount Fuji when the skies are clear.

On the 52nd floor of the facility, you’ll find the museum’s twin eateries, Cafe THE SUN and Restaurant THE MOON. Enjoy pasta dishes and other Western-style brasserie fare at Cafe THE SUN, or treat yourself to a full-course lunch or dinner at the lunar-themed Restaurant THE MOON, where you’ll find stellar evening views of its namesake celestial body.
