Experience Lush Japanese Garden Living
Nature's splendor abounds in this ryokan in rural Miyazaki Prefecture
Take one step inside and you'll notice the pristine garden. That's how you know the ryokan Shinsen isn't like other inns. Three areas—the main building, annex rooms Kamuroki no Shou, and Bettei Koniwa—each offer rooms with distinctive spaces and characters. Built with a focus on privacy, the elegant rooms give you the time and space you need to recharge.
Come for Shinsen’s garden views, stay for the baths, and don't forget to pick up a yukata to use while you’re here. Slip into this colorful, traditional garment and let everyone see that you know how to pamper yourself. Or simply nestle into the luxury and comfort of your room and keep the secret all to yourself. Meals are served in a private dining room.
Shinsen's chefs will transport you with their full-course kaiseki meals, using the finest seasonal ingredients and served in a visually arresting presentation. The owner, herself a certified sommelier, can suggest the perfect wine to accompany your meal.
From the moment you step into the ryokan until you leave, there are a myriad of ways to spend your time in Shinsen. The choice is yours.
