The Ultimate Doraemon Experience at the Fujiko F. Fujio Museum

Children and adults alike will be charmed by this museum highlighting a Japanese manga icon

Hiroshi Fujimoto, best known by his pen name Fujiko F. Fujio, had a lifelong love of children and their playful spirit. Coupling this with his artistic talent, he created the beloved Doraemon, the helpful robotic cat who is one of Japan's most popular manga characters. After his passing, his wife wanted to create a place where his work could be shared with the fans of all ages who supported him. Thus, the Fujiko F. Fujio Museum was born.

Located in Kawasaki, a city Fujimoto resided in with his family for many years, the museum offers a delightful romp through the artist’s life work. Adults will be intrigued by Fujimoto’s forays into science fiction and the original manga works on display, while children will delight in the colorful play areas and outdoor space decorated with Doraemon objects.
