Canyoning Tour of Nametoko Valley

Parks Overview Parks Overview

A full-day, guided canyoning tour of the unspoiled Nametoko Valley's rock slides and waterfalls

Canyoning is a thrilling way to discover Nametoko Valley in southwest Shikoku. Thousands of years of erosion formed this smooth riverbed, creating stone pipelines, canyons, and slides along the crystal clear Shimanto River. Slide down a 40-meter natural stone waterslide and jump into Yukiwa Falls with a local guide who knows the area well. All safety equipment is supplied, and your guide will teach you how to safely explore the canyon while having fun. A lunch made from local specialties is included in the program.
