Breathtaking views of the night sky from Mount Daisen
Choose one of two courses for a visual exploration of nature and the cosmos in Daisen-Oki National Park: a photography course for those who want to snap some memories of the beautiful night sky, or a stargazing course for those who want to simply enjoy the sights. Both courses offer a safe and comfortable means to walk through the mountains at night with an experienced guide. You'll set up camp at Motodani, about halfway up the mountain, and get to enjoy a special wild game soup prepared by a local French restaurant. No matter which course you go for, you'll receive helpful pointers from the guide to make the most out of your nocturnal adventure.
