Ride Mount Kurodake's First Ropeway of the Day
Enjoy sweeping views of Daisetsuzan National Park and an insider perspective
Start the day with an unrivaled view over Daisetsuzan National Park. Take the first ropeway of the day at around 6:00 a.m to Mount Kurodake’s Fifth Station with a knowledgeable local guide who will point out the sights. If you’re lucky, between summer and autumn you will be treated to views of a "sea of clouds." After admiring the scenery from the Fifth Station (1,300 m), take the ropeway back down or continue hiking to Mount Kurodake's summit.
