Enjoy splendid views of Mount Kaimon on an 8-km walking tour
This 8-km, half-day walking tour around Ibusuki starts at Nishi-Oyama Station, the southernmost train station in mainland Japan. Over the course of four hours, you'll take in the impressive sight of Mount Kaimon and visit places like Cape Nagasakibana, where Urashima Taro is said to have departed for the Dragon's Palace in the classic Japanese fairy tale. Sweet potatoes, seasonal vegetables, eggs, and other foods steamed with the waters of the local Unagi Onsen are served during a break in the experience. At the end of the tour, you'll receive a badge to commemorate your participation.
