Experience the lifestyle of Japan’s legendary samurai at Sengan-en, a stately home and garden, and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The residence once belonged to the powerful Shimadzu warrior clan. The garden is well-appointed, with views of Mount Sakurajima and Kinkowan Bay. Expert curators will dress you in an accurate replica costume before your photo is taken in a beautiful garden that features the active volcano of Sakurajima in the background. Selected photos will be developed and posted to you. You will receive the digital data of the remaining images. Costumes are available for adults and children.
