Enjoy art, culture, and island life on an informative tour with the Koebi team, volunteer supporters of the Setouchi International Art Festival

The Setouchi International Art Festival is one of the largest contemporary art festivals in Japan, and is held every three years on islands in the Setonaikai area. Through this international art focus, the island communities have become energized with events and cultural exchanges throughout the year. The volunteer members of the Koebi team welcome visitors to discover the islands through custom tours, itinerary planning, island events, and food encounters. The program aims to support the region through the study of island issues, and community development through art. Experiences include tracing the history and memories of the islands through artworks on Oshima and Teshima islands, and exploring regional development through art on the islands of Ogijima and Megijima.
