Admire the iconic Itsukushima-jinja Shrine from a sea kayak
This Setouchi Shimatabi Cruise operates as a sightseeing route connecting Hiroshima Port and Onomichi Port, running every Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and on holidays from March to early December.
On the eastbound route departing from Hiroshima Port, passengers can enjoy a landing tour on Okunoshima, popularly known as ""Rabbit Island."" On the westbound route departing from Onomichi, passengers can land in the Mitarai district on Osaki Shimojima, an area that preserves the atmosphere of the Edo period (1603–1867). Scenery viewed from the ship and interactions with the island residents are among the highlights of this cruise. The cruiser Sea Spica used on this route is also the same vessel boarded by world leaders during their visit to Miyajima for the G7 Hiroshima Summit.
